Meet Betty Blowtorch, four mean, cussing, power tool-wielding rock & roll hussies who will fix your car and then hump you on top of it.
Their 6 song EP, produced by Duff McKagan (Guns-n-Roses) and Noel Golden, will forever shred the ridiculous notion that rock bands need to be defined by the sex of their members. They are direct with their sound and lyrics. This band doesn't hold back. Betty Blowtorch sing it, just like they live it: Honest and Raw with songs like "Shut Up & F@#*", "I Wanna Be Your Sucker", and "Get Off".
Betty Blowtorch started playing together in early 1998. Bianca, Sharon & Blare played together for 5 years in the hard-core punk band, Butt Trumpet. Eventhough they sold over 60,000 units on their EMI release "Primitive Enema", EMI let them go because they didn't write songs about smelling flowers and saving souls. After a year on the road with The Humble Gods, Bianca called her old band members Sharon and Blare. Sharon and Judy were playing in a band called Bobsled at that time and left to complete Betty Blowtorch. After a few shows together the band caught the attention of Duff McKagan, who offered to produce their forthcoming album. They recorded 16 songs, six of which are being released on the Betty Blowtorch "Get Off" EP on Foil Records (a newly formed independent Southern California label dedicated to rock music).

With the gigantic howl of Bianca Butthole which has caused mountain goats to go deaf in Nepal, the hefty-soun4ing guitar of r&r babe Sharon Needles, the screaming ear-bleeding lead guitar playing of Blare N. Bitch and the no merciful skin-lashing of Judy Molish, these gals will rock with the best of them.
